continually found ourselves pleased with the cast of characters who bring talent, creativity, intelligence, humor and passion to our work. Our three sons Finn, Balloch and Harper were welcomed into the world by this most amazing and diverse group of people.
I love designing homes. I may wax about the history of the parlor in the American house or why a “dog trot” is a very sensible way to layout a Cracker house in Florida. But after I get that out of my system, I really am most interested how beauty and creativity live alongside reality and functionality. This is what we deal with daily and what makes our work worth getting out of bed for and sometimes even losing sleep over.
